Tommy Ben Cutler,

Tommy Ben Cutler, 64, of Jackson, MS, formerly of Steele, MO, passed away on February 25, 2025. Cutler was born on June 28, 1960, in Steele, MO, and was the son of the late Benny Schaffer and Opal Biggers. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Rhonda Cutler; his parents; his brothers, Calvin and Byron Cutler; his sisters, Patricia Cutler Pilgrim and Wanda Hinklin; and two granddaughters, Ruby Lanie Cutler and Ally Reese Jones.

Tommy grew up around the Steele and Caruthersville areas. He married Rhonda Farmer on August 10, 1984, and together they built a life filled with love and family, raising seven children. He attended Diesel Mechanic School, earning his diploma, and spent his life working with his hands, whether it was fixing old cars and motorcycles or simply tinkering with whatever needed attention. He had a love for the open road, often taking drives just to enjoy the scenery, and he never turned down a good meal. More than anything, Tommy cherished spending time with his family.

He leaves behind a family who will forever carry his love and memory. Survivors include his children, Kevin Farmer of Zephyrhills, FL, Kimberly Cutler Tate of Jackson, MS, Jennifer Cutler of Caruthersville, MO, Tommy Joe Cutler of Plant City, FL, Tabatha Cutler Scott of Butte, MT, Jonathan Cutler of Plant City, FL, and Chad Cutler of Plant City, FL; his siblings, Larry Cutler, Lesa Wicker, Sandra Joan Mason, and Freddie Mae Alexander; and his 25 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2025, at John W. German Funeral Home in Steele, Missouri, with Brother Robert Travis officiating. Burial will follow at noon at Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Though he is no longer with us, Tommy’s love, kindness, and humor will live on in the hearts of all those who knew him.
