Nora Lee Treece Mauldin was born in East Alton, IL on December 4, 1943. She passed away on February 10, 2025, at her home in Dyersburg, TN. She was 81 years of age.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Jack and Mayme Treece, husband: Benjamin Hugh Mauldin, infant daughter: Jackie Marlette Mauldin, one adult daughter: Gayla Marie Mauldin Clark, 3 brothers: Ray, Aubry, and Roy Treece, and 2 sisters: Margaret Ann Treece Lambert, and Wanda Rose Treece Cowan.

Nora was of Baptist faith. She was an avid reader and crafter. She served as a Girl Scout Troop Leader and received several Art and Cake Decorating Achievements. She enjoyed cooking, baking, bird watching, fishing, garage selling, and drawing. She also enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, and playing board and card games.

She leaves the following behind to cherish her memory one daughter, Penny Marie Mauldin Bowers and husband Steve, one sister: Carolyn Sue Treece Standley, 8 grandchildren, Jeremy (Jessica) Brown, Cheynne (Tony) Clark, Daniel (Danni) Clark, Bobbie Sue Clark Love, Christina Clark Hudson, Melissa Clark, Matthew (wife) Bauer, Brooke (Andrew) Bauer Dalton, 12 great grandchildren, Ethan Clark, Sammy Clark, Griffin Clark, Tyler Robel, Jiovanni Love, JJ Love, Janiyah Love, Nyasia Love, Emily Hudson, William Hudson, Logan Brown, and Colette Brown and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Services were held February 13, 2025, at 2p.m., in the John W. German funeral home Chapel in Hayti, with Brother Larry Howard officiating. Interment at Little Prairie Cemetery in Caruthersville, following the service.
