James Howard Maclin

James Howard Maclin was born in Hayti, MO on April 22, 1944. He passed away peacefully at his home in Hayti on January 26, 2025. He was 80 years of age.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Louis and Francis (Foust) Maclin, one sister: Mary Yeager, and two brothers: Jerry and Paul Maclin.

James was a loving brother, uncle, great-uncle, and friend. He loved staying busy whether it was working on the family farm or cutting the grass in the ditches at his home.

He leaves the following behind to cherish his memory, 2 sisters: Mecca Tanner of Caruthersville, MO and Carolyn (Glynn) Grammer of Lakeland, TN, 7 nephews: Gaylon, Alan, and Jon Tanner, Shawn and Josh Maclin, Stan Maclin, and Jeremy Grammer, one niece: Monica Lash and a host of great nieces, great nephews, and friends.

Celebration of life services were held Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the John W. German Funeral Home in Hayti, MO.
