Caruthersville police reported multiple arrests from Feb 4-9, including probation violation, driving offenses, property damage, theft, assault with a baseball bat, and a traffic stop leading to a warrant arrest.

Feb 4 - Officers were called to the Justice Center in reference to a person being the lobby who had an outstanding warrant through the county. Officers arrested Anthony Luster on a probation violation with original charges of non support. He was held on a $500 cash only bond.

Feb. 5 - At 10:55 a.m. officers arrested Montavius Bowden on active warrants for no operators license, and no child safety seat.

Feb. 6 - At 1:12 p.m., officers took a report of property damage in the 1100 Block of MO Highway 84. The incident is under investigation.

Feb. 6 - At 1:52 p.m., officers took a report of theft in the 1900 Block of Truman Blvd. The suspect stole $15.65 worth of gas and was issued a citation for court.

Feb. 8 - At 2:38 a.m. officers were called to 1100 Madison Avenue in reference to someone being assaulted with a baseball bat. On arrival, contact was made with the male victim who stated Richard Wells Jr had beat him with an aluminum bat. Contact was made with Richard inside the residence and he was placed under arrest without incident. He was held on a 24 hour investigative hold pending the filing of formal charges. The Prosecuting Attorneys Office issued a bond warrant for 2nd degree assault.

Feb. 9 - At 3:57 a.m. officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for no tags. During the stop, the driver, Corsia Nishe Taper, 24, was found to have an active warrant for failure to appear for peace disturbance. She posted a $369 bond and was released.
