Caruthersville police have been busy with a series of arrests and incidents, including multiple felony warrants, theft, and trespassing. Notable arrests include Preston Wilbourn for various felonies and a hit-and-run case resolved civilly.

Caruthersville Police Reports

January 31- At approximately 9:34 am officers located and arrested Preston Wilbourn at a residence in the 1100 block of Madison Ave. Wilbourn had several active felony warrants through Pemiscot County for Assault 1 st Degree, Domestic Assault 3 rd Degree, Burglary 1st Degree x 2, Stealing over $750, Assault 4 th degree and Property Damage 2 nd Degree.

January 31 - At approximately 2:00 pm officers took a report of trespassing in the 600 block of W. 3rd St. the matter is currently under investigation.

January 31 - At approximately 4:37 pm officers located Chelsie Mott near Eastwood Ave. and 10 th St. and placed her under arrest for an active municipal warrant through Hayti, MO.

February 1 - At approximately 1:21 am officers were dispatched to Century Casino in reference to trespassing. Officers arrested James Burton for trespassing.

February 1 At approximately 2:33 pm officers located and arrested Kristen Davis near 10 th St. and Grand Ave. on an active municipal warrant through Hayti, MO.

February 2 - At approximately 9:45 am officers responded to the 600 block of E. 15 th St. in reference to a hit and run motor vehicle accident. Officers identified the suspect. The victim and the suspect made arraignments to handle the damages civilly.

February 3 - At approximately 1:00 am officers conducted a traffic stop near Ward Ave. and Mooreland Dr. during the course of the traffic stop the driver was found to be operating the vehicle on a suspended driver’s license. The driver was issued a ticket for driving while license suspended.

February 3 - Officers were called to the 1300 Block of Ward Ave in reference to a theft of $100 in $20 bills. On arrival, officers spoke with the reporting party who stated Ronderrick Adaway had stolen $100 from her. He was located and issued a citation to appear in court for stealing.

February 3 - Officers were called to the Dollar Tree in reference to a shoplifter who was still in the store. On their arrival they found a woman outside the store with merchandise she had not paid for. The 50 year old Caruthersville woman was arrested for shoplifting.
