New truck stop to replace Stubtown's old House Auto Sales

The old House Auto Sales at Stubtown has been torn down this week to make way for a new truck stop. Owner Luke VanAusdall says the stop will offer gas, diesel, breakfast and more. Sonic in Caruthersville will be closed for the next few weeks as they make repairs to their roof. Heavy rains led to a roof collapse that sent the air conditioning unit into a gas line. Fortunately no one was hurt and repairs are expected to begin soon. I
