Caruthersville's Kristi Stevens honored as VFW Teacher of the Year

Stevens Awarded Teacher of the Year!

Caruthersville Middle School Teacher Kristi Stevens was recently awarded the VFW Post 4680 Teacher of the Year award. She is shown here with her 5th grade class.

“Teaching children about pride in our country and patriotism is so very important”, says VFW representative Michael Sanders.

Kristi is in her 18th year of teaching in Caruthersville. She is married to Zac Stevens and they have two children, Kelsey and Jake.
